Spring is Finally Here

We camped out at our new house this weekend. It was refreshing to be in our own place, even if it was only for 2 nights. With warmer weather and the rain letting up a bit work is finally on a roll again. The electrician was working at the house all last week and drainage was put in. I'm not going to get my hopes up too much but, maybe we will be in before the summer.
It was so nice to wake up this morning with the sun shining and the river flowing in our back yard. Its such a beautiful spot which is why I guess we have held on so long waiting for the the house to be move in ready. James is out back fishing and I am typing on the computer. I guess I better get out there and enjoy the nice weather.

Yesterday my friend Melissa and I took the kids down to the Holyoke Children's Museum. It was exhausting getting everything packed and into the car and down there but, well worth it. The kids had a blast as did the adults. I even sneaked onto the giant play structure to enjoy some of the fun myself. The kids really enjoyed the giant bubble blowing area. We watched and laughed hysterically as they enjoyed washing their hair and faces with the bubble solution. Sometimes you just gotta let the kids be kids. Katy was like a kid in a candy store (or her mom in a mall). She was all over the place and having a blast. The museum even had a new water play area with boats a small stream and waterfall. I think this and and giant climbing area were the favorites. It was a super fun day, the kids had a blast and us adults were thrilled to get out of Franklin County for the day.
